Why use JumpPoint Legacy?
In modern life, many of our most valuable possessions aren't physical — they're digital. Email, photos, social media, cryptocurrency, gaming accounts and virtual assets now represent significant financial, emotional, and cultural value. Yet when someone dies or becomes incapacitated, these digital assets are often lost, inaccessible, or unaccounted for — leaving loved ones struggling during an already difficult time.
While millions of adults own digital assets such as cryptocurrencies and online accounts, only a small fraction include them in their estate planning. In the U.S., research shows a large gap between digital asset ownership and estate planning preparedness:
a.) Only a minority of digital asset holders include their digital holdings in wills, even though many worry about inheritance outcomes.
b.) Traditional estate plans often ignore the reality that digital assets like gaming accounts, social media profiles, and cloud-saved data are part of our lives and estates.
Without explicit instructions or secure mechanisms for heirs to access digital accounts, these assets can be lost forever — whether due to inaccessible credentials, restrictive platform policies, or lack of legal authority.
What core problem does JumpPoint Legacy Solve?
JumpPoint Legacy exists to solve a fundamental gap:
In a world where digital assets increasingly constitute wealth, identity, and legacy, there is no unified, secure, and user-centric way to preserve, transfer, and honor digital estates — especially for gaming accounts and virtual assets that traditional estate planning overlooks.
Our platform ensures that digital assets — including gaming accounts, secure credentials, virtual currencies, and document collections — are:
✅ Encrypted and protected at rest
✅ Tied to authenticated ownership
✅ Accountable through history tracking and audit logs
✅ Accessible and transferrable according to the owner's wishes
✅ Included in secure digital estate plans so they aren't lost forever
What is your value proposition?
JumpPoint Legacy helps users ensure that:
Their digital life — from financial accounts to gaming achievements — becomes part of a secure, accessible, and intentional legacy, instead of disappearing with them.
Why does this matter?
Without a solution like JumpPoint Legacy:
a.) Families may never access a loved one's gaming library worth thousands of dollars or inherited crypto items.
b.) Years of digital effort, achievements, and socially meaningful connections may be lost.
c.) Executors face legal battles, unclear rights, and frustrated heirs trying to navigate platform policies.
d.) Valuable virtual economies and personal digital histories disappear permanently.
How is JumpPoint Legacy designed?
JumpPoint Legacy is designed specifically to secure, encrypt, and organize digital assets in a way that makes them accountable, accessible, and transferable under the owner's control — even after death. Our platform enables:
✔ Structured digital ownership so heirs and executors can access assets according to your wishes.
✔ Audit and history tracking, making it easier to understand and manage an estate's digital contents.
✔ A unified system for securely storing credentials, documents, and valuable digital data for legacy planning.
In a world where digital wealth is growing rapidly but legal and technical mechanisms lag behind, JumpPoint Legacy provides clarity, control, and continuity — ensuring that nothing you value online slips through the cracks when it matters most.
What to do with your vault?
Including your JumpPoint Legacy vault in your estate plan requires careful wording — not just listing the code itself, but also giving your executor legal authority and directions for accessing it.
1.) Do not put sensitive data directly in your will
Your actual vault code, passwords, private keys, and other credentials should not be written into your will. When a will is probated, it becomes a public document, and any sensitive data within it can be seen by anyone. This could risk security breaches or theft.
2.) Include a Digital Asset Reference Clause
In your will, instead of listing the vault code itself, include language that acknowledges your digital vault and directs your executor to a separate secure inventory or access guide.
Example clause you might include in your will:
I give my executor full authority to access, manage, and distribute my digital assets, including access to my JumpPoint Legacy vault and associated information, as detailed in my Jumppoint Legacy "Estate Packet".
This confirms that your executor has legal authority to access the vault without exposing the code publicly.
3.) Create a Secure Digital Estate Packet
We create this Digital Estate Packet for you. Store it in a sealed safe or safety deposit box or with your attorney. Your will then references this inventory (without displaying the actual code).
A typical digital asset inventory might include:
a.) Jumppoint Legacy vault code
b.) Vault ID and location of instructions
c.) Authentication instructions for your executor
d.) List of other key digital accounts (crypto wallets, gaming accounts, cloud storage, etc.)
4.) Appoint a Digital Executor
When you write your will, appoint a digital executor or fiduciary — someone you trust with the responsibility to manage your digital assets, including access to your vault and inventory guide.
The will can include wording like:
I appoint [Name] as my digital executor with authority to locate and access my secure digital asset inventory holded by my JumpPoint Legacy vault.
Why This Matters
If your will simply names beneficiaries without giving legal authority to access your digital vault, your heirs may have no way to retrieve your encrypted assets — especially if they don't know the vault code or how to use it. Proper estate planning ensures:
Your executor has authority and instructions
Sensitive information stays secure (not public)
Your digital legacy is preserved and transferred as you intend
Do you store my passwords?
No. JumpPoint Legacy is not a password manager. The vault focuses on documentation and executor-friendly instructions.
Do you guarantee beneficiaries will get the account?
No. Platform rules and local law apply. We provide verified documentation and a structured process — not guarantees or arbitration.
How is my data stored and protected?
Your data is encrypted at rest using industry-standard AES-256-GCM encryption. Each vault has its own unique encryption key, ensuring that your information remains secure and isolated. All sensitive data is encrypted before being stored in our database, and we use multiple layers of security including authentication, authorization, and encryption to protect your digital assets. We never store passwords to your external accounts — only the documentation and instructions you provide.
How does an executor submit a claim to access vault contents?
When the time comes for your executor to access your vault contents, JumpPoint Legacy has a structured claim process designed to ensure security, verify identity, and protect your digital legacy.
Required Documentation
To process a vault access request, your executor must provide three essential documents:
1.) Certified Death Certificate — An official, certified copy of the death certificate issued by the relevant government authority. This document confirms the passing of the vault owner and is required for legal verification.
2.) Letter of Executorship — Official documentation from the court or estate authority showing that the person requesting access is the legally appointed executor or administrator of the estate. This may be a Letter of Executorship, Letter of Administration, or equivalent legal document depending on your jurisdiction.
3.) Vault Reference Code — The unique Vault Reference Code from your Estate Packet (e.g., JP-8K3D-29QF). This code is essential for decryption and must be included in your Estate Packet, which should be stored securely with your will or in a safe location accessible to your executor.
Why the Vault Code is Critical
Without the Vault Reference Code, the encrypted information in your vault cannot be decrypted. The code is the cryptographic key that unlocks your vault contents. This is why it's crucial to store your Estate Packet securely and ensure your executor knows where to find it. The code should be referenced in your will but not written directly in it (since wills become public documents during probate).
Submission Process
Once your executor has gathered all three required documents, they can submit the claim by emailing:
Email: vault@jumppointlegacy.com
The email should include:
• Scanned copies or photos of the certified death certificate
• Scanned copy of the Letter of Executorship or equivalent legal document
• The Vault Reference Code from the Estate Packet
• Executor's contact information (name, phone number, email address)
• Any additional context or questions
Verification and Processing
Once we receive the claim submission, our team will:
1.) Verify the authenticity of the submitted documents
2.) Confirm that the Vault Reference Code matches our records
3.) Validate the executor's legal authority
4.) Process the request within 5-7 business days (in most cases)
5.) Provide the decrypted vault contents to the verified executor via secure delivery
What the Executor Receives
Upon successful verification, the executor will receive:
• Complete vault contents including all documented digital assets
• Account identifiers, platform names, and access instructions
• Beneficiary designations and recorded wishes
• Contact details and executor information
• Complete vault history and audit trail
Important Notes
• The executor receives documentation and instructions — not direct access to third-party accounts. They must then follow each platform's procedures for account access or transfer.
• If a claim becomes contested or disputed, we will pause the process and request additional court documentation or legal clarification.
• We maintain strict confidentiality and will only release vault contents to verified, legally authorized executors.
• Processing times may vary depending on document verification requirements and the complexity of the estate.
